Yamaha reports fourteen percent sales increase in March

2nd April, 2012, New Delhi: On Sunday, two-wheeler company India Yamaha Motor accounted a fourteen percent increase in their total sales that stands at 41886 units in March 2012. In a statement, the company told that previous year in the same month, they sold 36768 units.yamaha 2

Exports of the company stood at 12067 units compared to 10982 units previous year, in the same month. Yamaha Motor put this success in sales figures to its popular product line up and an uptrend in consumer sentiment.

Hiroyuki Suzuki, the CEO and managing director of India Yamaha Motor, told that they are pleased with the encouraging response they have been getting for their premium and deluxe segment bikes such as the YZF-R15 Version 2.0, SZ series as well as FZ series. He also added that they are also preparing to toughen their Best 3S set up in tier-2 and tier-3 cities and increase sub-dealers in the rural areas to further boost their sales in the months ahead.

Yamaha also attributed this success to YZF-R15, FZ and SZ series, their flagship models.
