WWE apologized for WWE Wrestlemania 24 Fireworks Accident
In Florida, the fireworks begin to blast & then it turns in to a big ball of fire during Sunday night’s Wrestlemania event.
Chaos erupts in the stands & people start to run. The Orlando Fire Department said a cable carrying fireworks malfunctioned, dropped onto the crowd, leaving 45 fans with minor burns.
The officials of fire department said the accident occurred near the end of the event after a cable that held fireworks on the southwest end of the stadium snapped, shooting rockets into the stands.
The official said that the guidewire “was stretched to the stage at the north end zone. The cable was to supply a route for fireworks to travel down. Somewhere in that period the cable failed”.
WWE apologized for what happened. The fire department says WWE followed the proper procedures.
