Two explosions strike state building in Yemeni capital
Apr 30th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsTwo explosions strike a building run by the customs authority in the Yemeni capital Sana’a Wednesday. There were no immediate reports of any casualties.
The explosions were heard inside the courtyard of the building, which is close to the Italian embassy in Sana’a. A senior official of Police said that the embassy was not targeted by the attack.
The official said, “It is clear that the embassy was not the target. The customs building was likely the target”. It was not immediately clear whether it was a mortar or bomb attack.
