Tornado in Atlanta, Georgia Dome damaged

A tornado has hit the centre of the US city of Atlanta which damaged hotels & two sports arenas. The storm struck during a basketball game at the Georgia Dome, sending fans & players running for cover. An official said that near about 10,000 customers had lost power in the area.
The official from Georgia Dome said, “I thought it was a tornado or a terrorist attack”. The nearby Philips Arena, where the Atlanta Hawks were playing the Los Angeles Clippers, also suffered damage. No major injuries were reported.
