Shootout in eastern Guatemala killed 9
Mar 26th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsAt least nine people killed & seven injured in a shootout in eastern Guatemala that is likely tied to drug traffickers.
A senior official said that the nine people killed were apparently ambushed on Tuesday in the town of Teculutan.
Police have arrested three Mexicans & three Guatemalans who were carrying an arsenal of automatic rifles & grenades near the shootout. Police is investigating the matter.
