The younger brother of late R&B singer Gerald Levert & son of Eddie Levert of the O’Jays, Sean Levert, has died late Sunday night local time.

Sean Levert 39 years old was died at 11:57 p.m. local time at Lutheran Hospital after being transported to the facility from the Cuyahoga County Jail. The cause of his death is not immediately known. An official of Coroner’s said that an autopsy on Sean LeVert’s body will likely be done on Monday morning.

Sean Levert had gone to the jail infirmary complaining he was sick. It was in November that Sean Levert started singing again.

It is being reported that Sean Levert was being held in jail for allegedly failing to pay about $80,000 in child support.

Gerald Levert, a Grammy award winner, his elder brother was died on Nov. 10, 2006. He was found dead in his bed at his Newbury home.

Gerald Levert started his career as the lead singer of the R&B trio Levert before pursuing a solo career.
