Protesters disrupt Olympic torch ceremony in London
Protesters were trying to grab the Olympic torch during the relay through London. Police lining the route scuffled with activists trying to disrupt the 31-mile relay from London’s Wembley Stadium to Greenwich.
A senior official of Police said that the three protesters tried to board a relay bus before police dragged them off.
Later, a protester tried to grab the torch, causing a delay to the procession as police moved into pull the man off.
A few miles down the route, dozens of Chinese supporters waved large China flags even as several anti-China protesters chanted: “Free Tibet.”
