Plane crashed in Moldovan, killed 8
Apr 12th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsA Sudanese transport plane has crashed near the Moldovan capital while trying to land in which eight people killed.
The plane, an An-32, was en route to Sudan when pilots requested permission to land 10 minutes into the flight late Friday.
It says pilots tried to land the plane, which was carrying 2.3 tons of fuel, but a wing struck a fence & electrical wires & burst into flames. The Civil Protection & Exceptional Situations says four of the dead were Moldovans & four were Ukrainians.
