Pak police arrested eight for Navy War college blasts
Mar 5th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsPakistani police on Wednesday arrested eight alleged militants for Tuesday’s serial blasts at Lahore’s Navy War College. An official said that the members of several outlawed militant organizations were arrested in separate raids hours after Tuesday’s bombing.
DNA tests are being carried out on the heads of the two suspected bombers that were recovered from the blast site to establish their identity. The Dawn quoted Tassaduq Hussain, the chief investigator of Lahore Police, as saying that parts of a motorcycle, believed to have been used by the attackers, its chassis & engine numbers have been recovered and police will try to find who owned it.
