External Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that Pak should communicate through proper channels with India and not through the media. Briefing to the media here today he said, “We have not received any information from Pakistan about the investigation in the Mumbai terror strike. All we are getting is media reports.”

This press brief of Mr. Mukherjee came after Pakistan’s repeated claims that Mumbai attacks on 26/11 were planned outside that country.
India always expected Islamabad to respond on the outcome of its investigations officially. Reporting through media is not the way a government should respond to such a serious issues.
In his brief Mr. Mukherjee also stressed that India have officially given all the materials to Pakistan for the invesigation.
According to Pakistan, the Mumbai terror attacks on 26/11 were not planned in Pakistan but in a “third place” outside Pakistan and Britain. This was said by Pakistani High Commissioner to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan in London on Friday.
To take action with this step India may go to the UN and persuade to include other Pakistan-based entities and individuals in the terrorists list. New Delhi may also move to UN Nations Security Council to seek a resolution and sanctions against Pakistan or Pakistan-based entities.
