Mohammad Hamid Ansari arrived in Kazakhstan
Mohammad Hamid Ansari the Vice President has arrived in Kazakhstan’s Capital Astana on Sunday evening.
During his visit, Ansari will hold talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev & will also meet Senate Chairman K Tokayev & address the Senate. Security situation in Afghanistan along with cooperation in hydrocarbon sector is expected to dominate Ansari’s meetings with the Kazakhstan leadership.
Ansari will also hold talks in which trade & economic cooperation could be stepped up between the two countries. A high-level delegation, including Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmed, is accompanying Ansari.
