Marlon Samuels banned for match fixing

He was found liable of one of the two bribery charges. The West Indies Cricket Board has found sufficient evidence to charge Marlon Samuels for passing on team information to Indian bookie Mukesh Kochar during the first ODI between the West Indies & India in Nagpur on January 21 last year.
The hearing was conducted by the WICB Code of Ethics & Disciplinary Committee. It was chaired by former acting Chief justice of eastern Caribbean, Adrian Saunders & also had players like Courtney Walsh & Richie Richardson as members.
