Karnataka received Heavy rainfall, 13 killed

Heavy rainfall has been recieving by Karnataka since last week have claimed 13 lives & destroyed crops worth Rs 10.22 crore.
An official on Tuesday said that the Governor Rameshwar Thakur has directed the authorities to pay Rs one lakh compensation to each of those killed in the rains.
Rameshwar Thakur ordered the officials to visit the affected parts, assess crop loss & damage to property.
The districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Bellary, Koppal, Raichur, Gulbarga, Bidar & Kodagu have been badly hit by the rains.
