Heavy rains lashed south China, 55 killed
At least 55 people have been killed over the past 10 days in torrential rains & flooding across south China & more gales & storms were expected in the coming days.
China’s National Meteorological Centre has said that the heavy rain would continue there & that precipitation in the provinces of Guizhou, Sichuan & Yunnan would be 30 to 70 per cent greater than in the same period last year.
