Gunbattles in Sri Lanka killed 50
May 5th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World News43 Tamil Tigers & seven soldiers have been killed in running battles between th LTTE & the security forces in the embattled northern Sri Lanka on Sunday.
A senior official from Sri Lanka said as many as 10 LTTE Tigers were killed and 10 others injured when the army launched a massive offensive on Saturday & captured an area of 1.5 sq km in Puliyankulam Mannar.
