Family Members shot dead in shooting in Iowa City

A multiple family members has been shot dead on Monday morning local time on Iowa City’s east side. Police is looking for a man named Steve Suppel in connection with the shootings, which happened on Barrington Road shortly after 7 a.m.
An official of Police said that the students & faculty at the University of Iowa received text & telephone messages warning that there was an active shooter in the Iowa City area. There was a shotting in Iowa City and that they might expect a lockdown of the campus.
The message said police were looking for a white man in his 40s, driving a 1998 tan Toyota Sienna minivan with Iowa license plate number 501 BLO.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation said it had agents in route to assist with a death investigation, but declined further comment.
No details were available on how many people were shot. The scene was wrapped in crime tape & an ambulance was in the home’s driveway.
