Earthquake struck Taiwan
An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck east coast of Taiwan on Sunday morning. There were no immediate reports of any casualties.
Thee earthquake struck at 1:11 a.m. (IST). The epicentre of this earthquake was 99 kilometres southeast of Suao. It struck at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Taiwan, which lies near the junction of two tectonic plates, is regularly shaken by earthquakes.
