Earthquake struck China-Myanmar border
Aug 20th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsAn earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck the border between China & Myanmar on Wednesday. The tremor struck at 5:35 am local time. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage.
The epicentre of this earthquake was about 224 kilometres from the city of Dali in southwest China & 65 kilometres from Myitkyina in Myanmar. The depth of the earthquake was about eight kilometres.
