Earthquake in Guatemala
Apr 15th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, World NewsAn earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck southwestern Guatemala. There are no immediate reports of any causalities.
The epicentre of this earthquake was just offshore in the Pacific Ocean, about 70 kilometers south of the city of Escuintla. It struck on Monday night a little after 9 p.m. local time.
A senior official has said that the power & telephone service were briefly interrupted.
