According to the channel the BJP-led NDA is expected of getting180 to 195 seats. The projection is based on a national election study by CNN-IBN in association with a daily newspaper Danik Bhaskar.

The study also says that DMK and its allies are set to “sweep” Tamil Nadu getting 47 per cent of the vote share against AIDMK’s 34 per cent.

Two days ago a similar study was made by the channel. It projected UPA of getting 185-205 seats and the BJP-led NDA getting 165 to 185 seats. The study had given 110 to 130 seats to the Third Front and the Fourth Front some where between 25 and 35 seats. Others likely to get 20 to 30 seats.

In the final projections, Congress is expected to emerge as the single largest party getting some where around 158 to 173 seats against BJP, whose tally is put at 132 to 147 seats.
