Claudette Yamin mother of former “American Idol” Elliott Yamin has died on Tuesday morning (IST) at Henrico Doctor’s Virginia hospital in Richmond. She was 65 years old. Her cause of death was not immediately available.

Claudette Yamin was in poor health in recent months. She was suffering from a broken hip &various other maladies.

Elliott Yamin came in third during the fifth season of the Fox television show. During that time his mother became a celebrity in her own right.

Brandon Crowe Elliott’s friend said, “The world lost a beautiful soul. I can’t go into any details at this time except to say that she went peacefully”.
