Bomb blast in Sanaa, Yemen

An eyewitness said, “A big explosion was heard near a complex housing US citizens on Monday”.
A senior official said that the explosion was caused by three rocket-propelled grenades fired on the residential complex. The blast caused no casualties but shattered glass in one of the buildings. Security was tightened in the area.
The security official said that the terrorist network Al Qaeda was likely to be behind the blast, which was very similar to the attack in March on the US embassy in Sanaa.
