Australian tennis player arrested over alleged date rape
An Australian tennis player has been arrested over an alleged date rape. Paul Hanley 30 years old is on bail after a woman in her 20s accused of him of sexual assault.
A senior official of Police said that the pair went to Hanley’s home after meeting at a bar near the All England Club in Wimbledon, London.
Hanley, who specialises in doubles tennis, split with long-time doubles partner Wayne Arthurs in 2006 & now plays with Kevin Ullyett of Zimbabwe.
Hanley is Australia’s second highest money earner on the professional tennis circuit behind Lleyton Hewitt.
