5.7 magnitude Earthquake in Mexico
An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck hilly southern Mexican state of Chiapas. The earthquake was struck at 5:01 pm local time on Thursday & 4:31 am Friday. The centre of this earthquake was at offshore which is 78 km southwest of the city of Mapastepec in Chiapas state.
An official said that there were no reports of damage. A magnitude 5.7 earthquake usually causes only minor damage to buildings.
