At least 110 Tibetan protesters have been arrested in Kathmandu after they staged a demonstration in front of the United Nations office in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, on Monday.
An official said that Dozen protesting refugees were injured during a scuffle with the police. Tibetan refugees have been carrying out demonstrations in the Nepali capital against what they call brutal crackdown on pro-independence protesters in Tibet by the Chinese government.
National & international human rights groups have criticised the police action on the demonstration of Tibetan refugees. The government of Nepal has repeatedly said it would not allow any activities against China in Nepali soil.
