An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck Canada Pacific Coast west of Vancouver island on Friday (IST).
The earthquake occurred at 5:37 a.m. some 153 kilometers west-southwest of Port Hardy on the northern tip of the island & 472 kilometers from Vancouver, the largest city on Canada’s west coast.

At least 11 people have been killed in many injured in two suicide blasts outside Pakistan’s main arms factory in Islamabad on Thursday. The blasts targeted the factory in the northern town of Taxila, near the capital Islamabad.
